why cowsay?

i have a computer sitting in my room, not doing much. why not try to host some stuff on it?

i'm starting small: a personal site, a blog, an analytics dashboard, an RSS aggregator. my hope is cowsay will give me a chance to resurrect some of my old projects, and give me a space to share the things i build.

i'd eventually like to expand into hosting my own email, calendar, documents, photos, polls.

this is a little experiment in self-hosting, let's see how it goes! and before you ask, no, i do not have a story behind the domain name.
